NeoMed transfer lids are designed to make drawing up small feeds, medications, or additives from bottles much simpler and cleaner. Instead of pouring into another container or trying to hold a syringe inside a bottle, the transfer lid lets you connect your syringe directly to the top of the bottle.

Once connected, you can tip the bottle and draw up exactly what you need with better control, fewer air bubbles, and far less mess. It is a small piece of equipment that makes daily prep feel more steady and less rushed.

These lids fit a wide range of medical and nutrition bottles and are commonly used for breastmilk, formula, and liquid medications.

How to use:

🧴 Attach the transfer lid securely to the enteral formula, medication, or breast milk bottle

🔗 Connect an ENFit compatible enteral syringe to the lid port

🔄 Invert the bottle to allow gravity assisted aspiration

💧 Withdraw the prescribed volume into the syringe

🛑 Disconnect the syringe and cap the bottle if storing

Care and Cleaning Instructions:

🧼 Wash after each use using warm water and mild detergent

🚿 Rinse thoroughly with potable water

🧴 Sterilise between bottles in accordance with clinical or home care protocols

🌬 Allow to air dry completely before reuse

🔁 Replace if any cracking, stiffness, or loss of seal integrity is observed

FAQ: 

Are the transfer lids reusable?

Yes. The lids are reusable. They should be washed and sterilised between uses and for each new bottle they are connected to. If you notice any wear, perishing, or damage, they should be discarded and replaced.

How many should I order?

This depends on how you use them. A common approach is to have one lid per bottle you are using, plus at least one extra so you always have a clean, sterilised lid ready while another is being washed. Many people also keep a spare in case one is misplaced or damaged.

What bottles do they fit?

The NeoMed transfer lids fit a wide range of enteral feeding and breast milk storage bottles, including Johnson, Abbott, Mead, and Medela bottles. They are also compatible with Flocare 1 L decanting containers and other enteral nutrition bottles with the same larger opening.

Are they suitable for breast milk and formula?

Yes. The lids are designed for the transfer of expressed breast milk, fortified human milk, and enteral formulas. They are commonly used in both hospital and home feeding environments.

Why are only purple lids available? 

At this time, only the purple transfer lids are available for order.
